• All pupils should attend the class punctually. If by chance a pupil comes late , and entry has to be made in the page allotted for late attendance in the School Diary and the signature of the Principal, or other persons authorised, be obtained before entering the class.
• No leave of absence will be granted except on written application of the parent, addressed to the Principal in advance. Students who for unexplained reasons absent themselves for more than five days continuously are struck off the rolls and as a rule, are to be readmitted.

• Students are admitted on the understanding that they would remain in the school at least for the entire academic year. For the Pre-primary and the Senior Secondary, the year is divided into three terms(May to August, September to December and January to April)
• For classes I to X , the academic year is divided into two terms(April to September and October to March)
• If a parent desires to withdraw their child from the school before the end of the school year, the rules demand that the school fees for the entire year (for a boarder, boarding fee of the term) would be paid before the Transfer Certificate could be issued.
• Application for the transfer certificate should be made through the prescribed form by the parent or the legal guardian.
• The management reserves the right to compel the parent to withdraw their children if their conduct is harmful to other students.

• Habitual disobedience or any misconduct injurious to the moral tone of the school, justify dismissal at any time of the year.
• Malpractice in examination is grave offence, if found guilty the following rule shall apply. For the first time the student shall be awarded zero marks for all the papers of the said examination. If repeated a second time , it shall lead to either detention or dismissal.
• If any correction is done on the report card by the student he/ she shall be award zero in all subjects.
• Any misbehaviour of serious nature that has become a public knowledge is liable to bring about suspension or dismissal even if it has taken place outside the school premises.

A personal point tally system is followed to keep a track of student’s day to day activities as well a their strong and weak points

• Pupils should keep the class rooms and school premises absolutely clean, thus promoting clean environment.
• Damages to school property, disfiguring of walls, indecent language or behaviour are serious offences which may entail punishment and even dismissal.
• Pupils should at all times show respect and reverence to school authorities and members of the staff. They should remember that every child of this institution is a gentleman or lady in the making.
• Pupils should be responsible for the safety of their belongings. They are advised not to bring any costly articles to the school.
• A student must obtain prior written permission from the Principal before joining any course or activity, not conducted or organized by the school.
• Students are advised to speak English in the school premises and in the school bus to acquire greater fluency in the use of the language Pupils should not bring any magazine, periodicals or CD’s to the school without the permission the Principal.

• In line with the Education Policy of the Govt. of India, education will be continuous course of study. As such, the performance of the students will be reviewed throughout the year by conducting tests and examinations. Thus assessment will be continuous process and will not be confined to the Annual Examinations alone.
• The progress of pupils are assessed by means of slip tests, Mid-term and Term exams. The slip tests are objective tests conducted by subject teachers at short notice.
• At the end of every Mid-term the progress report is prepared and sent to the parents through the child for their careful perusal and appropriate follow up action. The report is to be signed and returned to the school office within three days of the receipt of the same.
• For Half yearly exam the same is to be collected by parents from the school. The pass mark is 40% for all subjects for students.
• Promotions are based on the average of the formative and summative assessments conducted throughout the year.
• Promotion of the students who have absented themselves from the Annual examination is based on the following criteria.

* The student should have performed well in the averages.
* The Principal and the teachers concerned are confident that the student will be able to cope with, in the next class
